These are indie-ish bands that I’ve loved for awhile and have seen live multiple times. 2017 was one of those years when I craved the new yet familiar. And through it all, these albums got me through political tweet storms, rainy days, migraines, and tough work dynamics. They kept me company as I lay on my shag carpet, staring at the ceiling, and dreaming of what was next.
